The address matters because this is not a high street shop with a window display and a till. It is a showroom linked to a stone manufacturer. You can look at the fireplace shapes, hold the stone samples against the light, and talk through what can be made for your room. If you are bringing someone with you, it helps to bring the person who will live with the fireplace every day.
What you can see
The showroom lets you judge scale. A fireplace that looks neat on a phone can feel very different when you stand in front of it. You can see finished marble fireplaces, compare shelf shapes and hearth depths, and look at how a fire sits inside the surround. That is hard to understand from a flat image.
You can also compare materials. Marble, limestone, quartz, porcelain and terrazzo all read differently in daylight. Some stones are quiet and soft. Some have stronger veining. Some are better suited to furniture or outdoor use. The colours and finishes page gives the overview, but the showroom helps you see what the surface actually does in the light.

What to bring with you
Bring photos of the fireplace wall, taken straight on and from further back in the room. Bring rough measurements if you have them: chimney breast width, opening size, hearth depth and ceiling height. If you are not sure what to measure, read the measuring guide first. Do not worry if the numbers are rough. We confirm the important details before anything is made.
Samples from the room are useful too. A flooring offcut, paint card, cabinet sample or fabric swatch can change the decision quickly. Stone changes with light and with the colours around it. Seeing it beside something from your own room is better than trying to remember a shade from memory.
Who you will meet
Sontuoso Stone is a family business trading as Heartlands Marble. The showroom is part of that, not a separate sales counter. Paula is named on the site as the showroom contact, and the wider family is involved across the workshop, trade office and fitting work. Gas work is handled by Lewis, who is Gas Safe registered, where a gas fire is part of the project.
You do not need to arrive with a finished design. Most people arrive with a room problem: an old fireplace that looks tired, a wall that needs a focal point, a chimney breast that is an awkward size, or a new fire that needs stone around it. The visit is there to turn that into a clear route.
