Privacy policy
This policy describes how Sontuoso Stone (P Mason Ltd) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit this website, contact us or place an order.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information
P Mason Ltd, trading as Sontuoso Stone, is the data controller. You can contact us at[email protected], by telephone on 07460 094002, or at Unit 6, Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre, Forshaw Heath Road, Earlswood, Solihull B94 5JU.
Information we collect from you
When you contact us, request a quote, order a sample or place an order, we collect the details you give us: your name, contact details (email address, phone number, delivery address) and the details of your enquiry or order. We use this information to respond to you, prepare quotes, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and provide customer support.
Information about your use of the website
We use Google Analytics to collect information such as pages viewed and general device, browser and approximate-location information. This helps us understand and improve the website. The website also uses Copper Lane Agency OS for enquiry forms and website chat, and interactive maps whose tiles are supplied by CARTO using OpenStreetMap data. Those providers receive technical information such as your IP address when their service loads. Agency OS may prepare automated replies from Sontuoso Stone's approved information, with a team member able to take over the conversation. We do not use this information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Why we use your information and our lawful bases
We use enquiry, quotation and order information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform a contract with you. We keep tax, accounting and other required records to meet our legal obligations. We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the website, answer general enquiries, provide customer service, understand how the website is used and improve our products and services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. If we ask for consent for a separate purpose, you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed with providers that help us operate the business, including our website host, Copper Lane Agency OS for forms and chat, Twilio for calls and text messages, Resend for operational email, Google Analytics, payment providers used away from this website, professional advisers, and delivery or installation partners involved in your order. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics and the Agency OS chat service may use cookies or local browser storage. Your browser settings can block or delete these. The core website remains usable if analytics is blocked, although chat and embedded forms need their provider's scripts; you can instead contact us by telephone or email.
Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement
With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and confirmed survey enquiries from our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta receives technical information such as your browser and IP address, the page visited, and an event identifying a confirmed enquiry. We do not send the name, email, phone number or message entered in this form through the pixel. Marketing measurement may use the _fbp and _fbc cookies and campaign or ad-click identifiers.
The Meta Pixel loads only after you choose Allow marketing. Reject marketing leaves your enquiry form available. You can change your choice using Marketing settings; rejecting stops further Meta measurement and clears the Meta cookies we can access. Your choice is saved in local browser storage. Campaign attribution is retained in this tab only when marketing measurement is allowed. Google Analytics continues to operate as described above; the marketing choice specifically controls Meta measurement.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law treats this as a restricted transfer, we require an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards. You can ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep enquiry information while it remains relevant to the enquiry and our customer relationship. We keep order, tax and accounting records for the periods required by law. We then delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, to receive certain information in a portable form, and to object to how it is used. To exercise a right, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
Your right to object
You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Email [email protected] and tell us what you object to.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The latest version will always be on this page.
