View detailsWhich outdoor table suits the space?
A garden dining table needs room for chairs, movement and serving, not just the top itself. A terrace table may need to feel lighter so it does not dominate the space. A larger patio can take a stronger stone finish, especially if the table is meant to sit at the centre of the garden.
The finish should work with the house as well as the planting. A calm porcelain can suit modern paving and glass, while a stronger porcelain pattern can make the table more of a feature. If you are choosing alongside outdoor kitchen surfaces, steps or a fireplace, bring photos so the materials can be compared together.
Materials, weather and care
The outdoor range is built around materials chosen for garden and terrace use. We will talk through the finish, care and position before you order, because outdoor furniture has to deal with light, shade, rain and everyday use in a different way from an indoor table.
Samples help outside as much as inside. Look at them in daylight, next to paving, brickwork and planting. A finish that feels quiet indoors can look different outside, and a bolder pattern can either lift the space or feel too busy depending on the setting.
It is also worth thinking about what the table will sit on. Paving, decking and gravel all affect how steady the furniture feels and how easy it is to use day to day. Tell us about the surface before the table is made.
Sizing, delivery and access
Outdoor access is often the detail people forget. Gates, side passages, steps, gravel paths and changes in level all matter. We ask about them before the piece is made so the table can be delivered and placed sensibly.
Made-to-order sizing also helps with garden layouts. You may need a long table for a narrow terrace, a rounder shape for easier movement, or a smaller table that leaves room for planters and seating. Send photos and measurements, or visit the showroom to talk through the space.
For a covered area or garden room, we also check how close the table will sit to doors, outdoor kitchens and fixed seating. The aim is a table you can actually move around, not just one that fills the plan.
If the table is part of a wider garden project, choose it before the final layout is fixed. That gives you a better chance of keeping walkways, seating and serving space usable.
A little planning at this point usually saves a lot of awkward lifting later.
