Which outdoor table suits the space?

A garden dining table needs room for chairs, movement and serving, not just the top itself. A terrace table may need to feel lighter so it does not dominate the space. A larger patio can take a stronger stone finish, especially if the table is meant to sit at the centre of the garden.

The finish should work with the house as well as the planting. A calm porcelain can suit modern paving and glass, while a stronger porcelain pattern can make the table more of a feature. Outdoor access is often the detail people forget. Gates, side passages, steps, gravel paths and changes in level all matter. We ask about them before the piece is made so the table can be delivered and placed sensibly.
