Custom Marble Fireplace Around an Existing Electric Fire in Solihull

The brief

The customer wanted a bespoke marble fireplace designed to fit around his existing wall-hung electric fire. Rather than replacing the fire, he wanted a surround that would complement it and create a more traditional fireplace feature, tailored to his own design preferences.

Made to measure

We created an initial design for the customer to review, making a few adjustments based on his feedback before the second draft was approved. He then returned to our showroom to explore our range of marble samples, choosing Blanco Micro Marble for his new fireplace. With the design and material confirmed, the drawings were sent to our factory in Birmingham, where the fireplace was manufactured to his exact specifications.

The finish

The finished fireplace transforms the existing wall-hung electric fire into a complete fireplace feature, without the need to replace the fire itself. The Blanco Micro Marble gives the surround a clean, timeless appearance, while the bespoke design ensures everything works together as one piece.
