Bespoke Limestone Fireplace and Electric Fire in Leamington Spa

The brief

The customer visited our showroom looking at electric fires, having already decided that British Fires was their preferred choice. With a blank wall between two windows in a room undergoing renovation, they wanted a low, wide fireplace similar to our Newby design, but with a more traditional style. After showing us a fireplace they had seen online, we discussed combining elements of our Windsor and Newby fireplaces to create something unique to their room.

Made to measure

Using the wall dimensions provided by the customer, we created a CAD drawing of a bespoke fireplace incorporating the British Fires 1200 electric fire. The design combined the low proportions of the Newby with the traditional detailing of the Windsor. We also advised on the dimensions required for the new chimney breast construction to ensure everything would fit together correctly. The customer chose Semi Rijo limestone to complete their bespoke design.

The finish

The finished fireplace brings together modern and traditional styling, with the wide landscape electric fire creating a contemporary focal point while the Windsor-inspired detailing and natural tones of the Semi Rijo limestone add a classic touch. A completely bespoke design that makes the most of the space between the two windows. Have your own fireplace design in mind?
